Are you holding yourself back from dropping unwanted weight?
Our perspectives/beliefs are shaped by our experiences, sometimes dating way back to early childhood.
When I was 16, the new girl on campus and getting a lot of unsolicited attention from the boys, I was not yet comfortable with my body and decided I wanted to be appreciated for my mind instead of my body. I gained 20 pounds and became radically feminist. I knew I wanted something more than being seen for my outer attributes.
Granted, I didn’t like myself more for the extra weight, but teenage years are filled with bad decisions based on faulty perspectives.
Although I gained more weight and then lost it in my twenties, I still struggled with body image and self-confidence.
Until I looked hard at the disempowering beliefs that held me prisoner and that I KNEW to be TRUE, I was stuck. Because I thought it was so…. It must be true. This is a key limiting belief. Find out more HERE with this Free Report.
Many years have passed; I now have insights into how I saw myself then; making decisions based on negative, faulty perspectives. This way of thinking turns into disempowering beliefs which then become written in STONE.
